In collaboration with parents, Greenhouse Christian Co-School in Wheaton, Illinois exists to develop the next generation of leaders who will serve the common good and in all things bring glory to God.
For over 20 years we have utilized an extraordinary model in the world of education. Greenhouse combines the best of what a private Christian education offers with the strengths of homeschooling. This approach to education is so unique we use a new word to describe it. We call it co-schooling. What does this look like? Our core program offers in-person learning one day a week for grades 1-12 (and a variety of elective classes).

What makes Greenhouse unique?
We are distinctly Christian and Christ-centered. Jesus Christ came not to be served, but to serve. The posture of service and sacrifice, epitomized by the Lord, is that which we model and nurture in all that we do. We refer to it as “servant leadership” – leading by serving others. It is built into our DNA and is an integral part of our academics, character formation and community.
Academics
Greenhouse Christian Co-School desires to raise up servant leaders who are alive to many things, and skillful in numerous areas. Utilizing a classical philosophy, Greenhouse strives to foster a love for learning by sharpening academic skills and intellectual discernment – the fruit of a classical education.
Character
Greenhouse Christian Co-School partners with you in raising up servant leaders who aren't simply smart, but who are wise and good, who are faithful followers of Christ. Teachers at Greenhouse use the curriculum not to just impart knowledge, but to promote moral virtue and personal responsibility.
Community
Greenhouse Christian Co-School aims to raise servant leaders who understand how to live in community with other broken people, humbly reflecting the love of God to those around them. Greenhouse provides a safe environment for homeschooled children to be sharpened in relationship with adult teachers, classmates, and younger and older students.
