Join the Quartet Club at Greenhouse as we begin our journey through the exciting and beautiful world of string quartet repertoire. We start with the Father of the String Quartet, Franz Josef Haydn, and his charming quartet (Op. 64, no. 5) which is nicknamed "The Lark". Then we will tackle a monumental work (Opus 59, no. 3) by one of his prize students, Ludwig von Beethoven, wherein he flexes his astounding compositional powers.
The Quartet Club is a group of musicians committed to the restoration and reinstatement of the Good, the True, and the Beautiful in our culture. As part of the performance, we share historical, philosophical, and spiritual context to deepen the enjoyment and understanding of the musical experience.
We hope you will come experience this professional concert in a family-friendly setting.
